Description
When I was a 6 years old I used to catch lizards and keep them as pets. One summer I put my lizards through swimming camp in my kiddie pool, after I was done playing with them I hung them to dry on the rose bush so they couldn't run away.
When I was 10 and fully capable of understanding death I realized that I had killed my lizards and since then feared the lizards would get back at me.
Little did I know their souls would rise again from the rose bush and the spirits of the earth would have their vengeance.
I LOVE Guillermo Del Toro both as a concept artist and SFX Makeup Artist his work is extremely inspiring to me, Thats why this is such an amazing contest and I enjoyed designing my nightmare creature as one that could fit in a Del Toro Movie ... its earthy and terrifying but has an elegance to it in a horrible way.
I would love more than anything just to have Guillermo Del Toro see my creature
Photoshop - flowers in background painstakingly drawn from scratch.
